Happy Day with Ruby Rock-It

Hello, Ruby Rock-It friends! I'm drawn to the bright, wonderful colors of the Bella! Paper Doll collection.  I created this fun "Happy Day" banner to decorate my door.  I used Ruby Rock-It patterned paper, chipboard, lace, felt, and vellum to create these lovely layers.  I used the Spellbinder's Nested Pennants die to create the base.


Next, I created a sweet card with the Bella! Paper Doll collection.  I love using my favorite paper and chipboard scraps to create a quick and easy card, perfect for any sweetie pie.

Happy Go Lucky with My Little Shoebox

Hello, My Little Shoebox friends!  I'm here to share a few projects with the lovely, "Happy Go Lucky" collection.  I love the sweet images and soft colors in this collection.  I created this fun, distressed frame using patterned paper and diecuts.  I love how you can transform an ordinary frame into something truly special.

Next, I created 2 notecards perfect for sending a hello to any friend.  Layering MLS diecuts makes creating a card so quick and easy.

Here is my altered tag with products from My Little Shoebox and The Twinery!

I created this sweet little altered tag with a wee photo of my mom.  What a cutie!  I used beautiful patterned paper from the My Little Shoebox "Aiko" collection with Pink Sorbet and Shore twine from The Twinery.

The jumbo Ranger's Manila Craft Tag measures 6 1/4" x 3 1/4"--a perfect canvas.  The wonderful bling is by Want2Scrap. 

I added foam adhesive by GlueArts for dimension and Colorbox ink for definition.

Tropical Joy with Want2Scrap

Hello, friends! One of my favorite spots to relax is actually my backyard.  It is quiet, secluded, and full of beautiful trees.  I can lie back in my lounge chair and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of Summer (we have lots of honeysuckle bushes).  Even though I haven't been on a tropical vacation, this collection was perfect for my "backyard oasis".

 I combined layers of Graphic 45 "Tropical Travelogue" paper with Want2Scrap BYOB (Build Your Own Bling).  I added a Chipboard Alphabet--Stylish letter and Chipboard Sentiment--Words of Love. Both are inked with Colobox Catseye ink.

Don't rule out using a collection, because it doesn't specifically fit your photos.  This tropical collection was perfect for my backyard photos. Be creative!  Add some chipboard and bling to make any project fabulous.

Remembering Dad with Ruby Rock-It

Hello, Ruby Rock-It friends! I'm here to share my Dad's Day layout.  My father passed away when I was very young.  I don't have many memories of the time we spent together.  I treasure these photos of us.  I can see that my dad love spending time with me and that I adored him.

I knew the Bella! Keepsake Paperz collection would be perfect for my Dad's Day layout.  The blues and browns combined with the great patterns gives this collection such a masculine, vintage feel.  I just love the bicycle paper!

Just look at the great embellishments.  The coordinating Bella! Ribbonz add a soft, dimensional touch to this layout.  The Fundamentals Petites alphabet stickers are great for mini titles.  The Fundamentals Accents chipboard pieces are wonderful in gold.  The kraft Accents are great to ink and decorate.


Combined together, I created a layout that I can cherish and share with my children.  I want them to know that even though my dad wasn't here to meet them, he still holds a special place in my heart.

Twice as Sweet

 No...you are not seeing double :)  I created these 2 layouts with photos of my friend's, Melinda and Bruce's, beautiful twin boys, Calen and Caleb.  I knew I had to use one of my favorite collections, My Little Shoebox's "Playtime".  This whimsical, youthful collection is just perfect for 2 adorable little boys. 

 I created these 2 layouts with sketches from Creative Scrappers for their weekend Sunshine Crop.  Hop over to check out the challenges and wonderful sketches.

 I challenged myself to create 2 layouts with the same collection.  So many fun diecuts, stickers, and papers in this collection.

 I can't believe these 2 little sweeties are 4 months old.  Melinda and Bruce are also proud parents to a 2 yr old little cutie, Brayden.  I'll definitely be scrapbooking photos of him, too :)

 I had a wonderful day relaxing and being creative.  A big thanks to Creative Scrappers for always providing tons of inspiration.

Be You (tiful) with Want2Scrap

 Hello, friends!  I recently saw the caption, "Be You (tiful)".  How wonderful!  Be yourself...define your own kind of beauty.  I love it!  Want2Scrap and Graphic 45 are the perfect combination.

My inspiration for this layout about beauty was this Want2Scrap Dress Form and Silhouette measuring 11" tall.  So elegant and lovely.  I added Nestabling white pearls to accent my layout.

I love to incorporate lots of inking, layering and distressing into my projects.  My favorite all purpose adhesive is Beacon's 3 in 1 Advanced Craft Glue.

The Want2Scrap Chipboard Alphabet-Stylish was inked to match my project and decorated with mini pearls.
