Welcome to Stampendous Fran*tage Friday! Today, I had the pleasure of desiging with Stampendous Cling Rubber and Clear Stamps. I want to share with you the steps I used to create this masking technique card.

First, I choose what stamps I will be using for my card and the card design. I lay the stamps out and decide what stamp(s) will be in the foreground. You will be stamping your images from the foreground to the background. For this card, the flowers and sentiment will be in the foreground with the music sheet in the background.

Next, stamp the flowers and sentiment as you want them to appear on the card.

Stamp these images again (to be used as the mask) and cut out with a craft knife.

Lay the masked images over the images on the card and stamp with music sheet stamp.

Tada! Adhere your stamped image to your card and you're finished. You can layer a few images, like I have done, or make your designs much more elaborate. Planning out your card first is the key. You will need to make masks for all of your stamped images except the background, which will be stamped last. Have fun! I'd love to see your masked cards. Visit the
Stampendous blog to view all of their stamps and fabulous creations.
