Welcome to the Fiskateer's Orange Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be participating with all of these amazing crafters for today's hop. If you have come here from Lisa Falduto's blog, then you are in the right place :) If this is your first stop on the hop, please start at the Fiskateer's Blog. I don't want you to miss anything along the way.
For my project, I want to share a fun and creative way to dress up those old paper lunch sacks. I think any gift presented in a sweet and thoughtful package makes it better to give and receive. These treat bags can be created in just minutes and use supplies you already have on hand.

I like to use a pretty stamped image, an old postcard, or even a photo as the centerpiece. I chose a beautiful mermaid stamp by Queen Kat Designs and colored her with my Copic markers. I chose 2 coordinating patterned papers for the background and added tiny sticker letters for the sentiment. I love all of the orange I used when coloring the mermaid. I thought the turquoise ribbon accented the colors nicely. I added a pretty Prima flower to the side of the mermaid.
I used my favorite Fiskar's border punch, Threading Water, to create the decorative edge for the bag. I also used my favorite Fiskar's micro-tip scissors for detailed cutting, and Fiskar's 1/4" Circle Hand Punch to thread the ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Your next stop on the hop is:

Have a wonderful day!

it's hard to say what my favorite Fiskars tool is. The trimmer has to be one, cause without it, not much else can be done. however, I absolutely love my fingertip craft knife, oh and the squeeze punches. My favorite squeeze punch is Gettin' Antsy. I rarely use it, but I love it. it's just so dang cute!
