Here's a cute little candy tin I altered with great downloadables from Marks Paper Company. The tin has been sitting on my desk just waiting for the opportunity to be altered. I loved working with these great papers/tags. Very COOL!

The Scrapdango August Reveal...

This month, I worked with the Scrapdango Sugar kit. It is TOO fabulous and overflowing with Basic Grey Lemonade goodness! Here are 2 layouts and an altered wallhanging I created for Jennah's room.
So glad it is Friday! We are traveling to Ohio for a family reunion tomorrow. You know what that means...more photo opportunities!
Have a great weekend!

Is it really Friday?
This week has really flown by. The kids are winding up their first week back at school. New school, new bus, new friends...Everything is going great. Who was worried? Not me :)
Lots of design team goodness this week. The Scrapdango week-long crop is winding up. Stop by and get in on the crop games and challenges this weekend. The Lotus Paperie challenge this week is to use watercolors on a layout. I created this layout about our family Rockstars. Afterall, I am their biggest fan. Another one of my fav sites, Magistical Memories, has released tons of new chipboard shapes. I created this layout, Welcome Summer, with a fun pineapple chipboard piece (and the July kit from Label Tulip).
Have a great weekend!

School Days
I can hardly believe that the kids go back to school on Monday. What better way to ring in the school year than to alter some school supplies. I loved altering this container holding colored pencils. The flat metal surface was perfect for adhering papers and rub-ons from the July kit at Label Tulip. I created this cute owl from felt and used stitching, buttons, and patterned papers to accent. So, what can you alter today? I'd love to see it.

Fiskars, Funtastic challenges, and my latest
I had such a great time on Saturday meeting Pinky and all the girls at the Fiskars training session at Scrapbook Village in Glasgow, KY. I'm now a Certified Fiskars Demonstrator. I love being a Fiskateer. The gals are SO much fun!
Some really great challenges...
Candy Shoppe Designs: For the Pre-Challenge "Warm It Up" you may create any Paper Creation that your heart desires. However, you are to use ONLY warm colors on your creations alright? There is also a fabulous sketch to use, if you choose to create a layout. http://www.candyshoppedesigns.blogspot.com/
Lotus Paperie: This week's challenge is to use FINGERPAINT on your layout. http://lotuspaperie.blogspot.com/
And my latest layout created with the fabulous July kit from Label Tulip:

It was so much fun taking these self-portraits. I'm sure the neighbors think I'm crazy!
